The second edition of "Oliver's Surprise" was published in the fall of 2009. The new version is targeted at teachers for use in the classroom and includes a history of coasting schooners and additional photographs. A teacher's guide is also available.
In addition to full-length fiction, Carol has also written several engaging short stories about life along the coast.
